I love to tell stories, and I'm currently working on ideas that explore being brave, making friends and problem solving. Much of my work is inspired by my own childhood and experience of the world around me. My pictures are made by hand, and involve experimenting with paint, paper and pencils to bring my observations and imagination to life!
My name is Becki Harper and I'm an author and illustrator based in York. I specialise in picture books, but have made all kinds of illustration work over the past 15 years.
